WICFG Beats Bad Ideas

In recent weeks Wisconsin Club for Growth has led the fight to kill some of the most egregious proposals in the state budget.   Our TV and radio ads have urged legislators to reject Governor Doyle’s plan to raise your insurance rates and make it easier for trial lawyers to sue you. Those budget proposals could force you to pay 100% of the damages in a lawsuit even if you are barely at fault and raise auto insurance rates by as much as $309 a year. 

Wisconsin Club for Growth made a difference!  We are pleased to report that those changes to joint and several liability laws have been removed from the budget by both houses of the legislature. While we applaud this action, we are continuing the fight against efforts to raise insurance rates at a time when families can least afford it. 

Legislators are definitely feeling the heat, but we need your help to stay on the air and continue the pressure.  We can and will have an enormous impact on the direction of our state . . . as long as committed fiscal conservatives like you join forces with us!
